Siskon Automation HMI and SCADA Applications

Siskon Automation has implemented automation applications using Genesis Iconics SCADA in accordance with customer demands for the automatic operation of the beer production facilities. In addition, it has implemented automation applications of many tobacco machines, dyeing machines, pharmaceutical production facilities and textile machines developed with C#. The application in textile machinery was controlled by using C# and Beckhoff PLC. Beckhoff CX PLCs in the machines read the data and write to the SQL Server database. On the SCADA developed in C#, visualization of data is controlled and controlled. All kinds of reports are presented as tables or graphs. The working status of the machines is stated in “the Current Status”. The machine with a green color is running and the red machine is not functioning. The graphical report of each machine and the bobbin information of that machine is as follows. In addition to the data collected, the minimum and maximum weights, average deviation, total weight are calculated and calculated on the graph and on the right side of the table. First of all, the textile machines SCADA and system designed with Monitrol MII operator panel and RIO input output units have been modernized and updated with touch-screen Siskon IPC and Beckhoff PLCs and a new more visual SCADA software. Based on the high performance of Siskon industrial computers with touch screen, the control of an important system such as a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility was also carried out with these touch screen industrial computers, Beckhoff PLCs and C # developed SCADA. The collected data is stored in the SQL database to provide maximum security. The PLC, SCADA and database used in the system have been used entirely according to the customer's request.It has the option of application with different PLCs and different SCADA software. Using SQL Server as a database can be much more useful for subsequent developments. Siskon Automation projects in general, Beckhoff PLC, Zenon SCADA, SQL Server database, despite the use of Twincat OPC server in accordance with the demands from customers as in the example above with other PLCs, with C# developed SCADA, database with Access or ORACLE projects and offers turnkey solutions. Beer automation system with Genesis Iconics Scada can be monitored and controlled from the central computer simultaneously. With the Siemens S7 415 PLC, the Genesis Iconics Scada system communicates with the Siemens OPC server Profibus protocol. Data collected from production lines are stored in the Microsoft Access database. After the process details are set on the central computer, the system is fully automatic. Users are also given the chance to intervene in the system manually if a change in the system is requested. The target temperature of the tanks is adjusted from the central computer. All kinds of reports are presented as tables or graphs.

In another application, the control of the connections of tobacco machines, alarm and conformity indication were provided by using SCADA and Beckhoff PLCs developed with C#.
