In recent years, a large number of domestic and foreign capital inflows have been entered into this sector in İzmir and the number of firms in the sector has increased rapidly. The reason for this increase is the revival of demand in the domestic market, the increase of qualified labor supply and the improvement of the infrastructure. İzmir nourishes the labor market with 9 universities and many junior technic high schools. In addition to the qualified workforce in Izmir, it is working in more competitive wage conditions than its counterparts in Istanbul and Ankara. In addition, the rate of leaving companies in İzmir is quite low compared to their counterparts in Istanbul and Ankara. This is due to the high white-collar belonging to the city and the company. Technoparks, which have increased in recent years, are another encouraging element for firms. These areas are a tax haven for ICT firms. All these factors make Izmir a suitable location for ICT firms.
