Siskon Automation SCADA Applications

Siskon Automation has been implementing HMI and SCADA software since 2001. It is the Turkey as a representative and distributor of Copa Data company of SCADA software. Siskon Automation has launched projects in Turkey with Zenon Scada developed by Copa Data. In addition, C# and custom made SCADA software, it can offer its customers more suitable solutions. In addition, other SCADA software can be used if required.

Siskon Automation has implemented automation application by using Genesis Iconics SCADA in accordance with the customer demands for the automatic operation of the beer production facilities. In addition, with its SCADA software developed with C#, it has implemented automation applications for many tobacco machines, dyeing machines, pharmaceutical production facilities and textile machines.

Beer automation system with Genesis Iconics Scada can be monitored and controlled from the central computer simultaneously. With the Siemens S7 415 PLC, the Genesis Iconics Scada system communicates with the Siemens OPC server Profibus protocol. Data collected from production lines are stored in the Microsoft Access database. After the process details are set on the central computer, the system is fully automatic. Users are also given the chance to intervene in the system manually if a change in the system is requested. The target temperature of the tanks is adjusted from the central computer. All kinds of reports are presented as tables or graphs.

In another application, the control of the connections of tobacco machines, alarm and conformity indication were provided by using SCADA and Beckhoff PLCs developed with C#. Beckhoff OPC server, SCADA system and PLCs communicate with Ethernet protocol. SQL server is used as database. In addition, with the software developed in C#, the system can be monitored on the entire intranet without the need to install a new program and allowed to be controlled by authorized users.

In textile machine projects, all connections and parts of the machine are visualized and monitored and controlled on SCADA developed in C#. The SCADA and system of textile machines SCADA, which was originally designed with Monitrol MII operator panel and RIO input output units, has been updated and also updated with touch-screen Siskon IPC and Beckhoff PLCs and a new more visual SCADA software. The control of an important system, such as a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, is also based on the high performance of Siskon industrial computers with touch screens. These touch screen industrial computers are also developed with Beckhoff PLCs, C# and SCADA. The collected data is stored in the SQL database to provide maximum security. The PLC, scada and database used in the system have been used entirely according to the customer's request. It has the option to apply with different PLCs and with different scada software. Using SQL as a database can be much more useful for further development. In Siskon automation projects, Beckhoff PLC, Zenon SCADA, SQL server database and Twincat OPC server are used. In accordance with the demands from the customers, as in the above example, with other PLCs, with C # developed SCADA, with Access or Oracle as a database, it also develops projects and offers turnkey solutions.
